THE Miami Dolphins have suffered another major injury blow – with one of their top stars out for the entire season.
The AFC East team have had a rough start to the 2024-25 NFL campaign, falling to 1-3.

They have had a number of injury concerns, along with issues off the field including Tyreek Hill’s controversial arrest.
Superstar quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered another concussion in a Week 2 game against the Buffalo Bills.
There have been calls for him to retire, with the head injury the fourth one he has already had in his short career.
However, the 26-year-old is understood to have made the decision to continue playing in the NFL.
And now the Dolphins have been hit with the devastating news of Jaelan Phillips being out for the season.
It is the second campaign in succession the edge rusher has been hit with a possible career-threatening injury.
The 25-year-old announced on Thursday he had torn his ACL and it will require reconstructive surgery.
He also posted a statement on his social media accounts, thanking Dolphins fans for their support.
“During the game on Monday, I suffered a season ending knee injury that will require reconstructive surgery,” he said.
“I believe that our lives are defined by how we handle adversity.
“In these moments of uncertainty, defeat, and sorrow, it is natural to question your purpose and wonder what is the meaning of this pain.
“I know that my purpose is to inspire people to never give up, no matter how many times you get knocked down.
“I am the living testimony of the power of resilience and faith, and I feel strength in knowing that my God is greater than any obstacle.
“Through him I will persevere.
London calling

The New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings will kick off the NFL's annual run of London fixtures this weekend.
New York and Minnesota will clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday October 6 at 2.30pm local time – 9.30am ET for fans back home in America.
It will be the first of three straight NFL Sundays that begin with an early game live from London.
The following week, Tottenham also plays host to the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Chicago Bears.
And on October 20, the Jags will head across town to Wembley Stadium to take on the New England Patriots.
“There is nothing in life that you can’t overcome as long as you don’t quit.
He added: “The mission is still the mission.
“I have unfinished business to take care of and I will come out of this trial victorious.
“Thank you all for your continued support and love. Fins Up.”
Phillips also warned his NFL rivals he would be back and better than ever in the 2025-26 season.
“Don’t feel sorry for me, feel sorry for anyone who has to face me when I’m back,” he added.
The Dolphins put Phillips on the injured reserve list on Thursday.
He suffered the ACL tear during the 31-12 loss to the Tennessee Titans last weekend.
And it comes following his ruptured Achilles he fought back from last year.
