THE Miami Dolphins have suffered another huge injury blow after Tua Tagovailoa’s concussion issues.
The star quarterback has been out since Week 2 of the 2024-25 NFL season, following another head hit.
He went down against the Buffalo Bills, and succumb to the fourth concussion of his short career.
There were calls for the 26-year-old to retire from the sport, and focus on his long-term health.
But he is set to return to training this week, and help the Dolphins try to recover their disastrous season.
He comes back with Mike McDaniel‘s team second in the AFC East, with a dreadful 2-4 record.
And it has gotten worse for the Miami-based side with the latest injury news to come in.
Braxton Berrios has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
He has torn his ACL that is set to require surgery and a long rehabilitation road ahead.
It comes as a big blow on Tua’s return to the team, with one of his wide receivers gone.
Berrios was also a return specialist, causing a gap in that position for McDaniel.
He has been placed on injured reserve, ending his campaign.
“An MRI today revealed that Dolphins WR Braxton Berrios tore his ACL, per source,” said ESPN insider Adam Schefter.
“The team has placed him on IR.
“There was no additional ligament or meniscus damage.”
The 29-year-old suffered the torn ACL in the Week 7 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Dolphins went on to lose the showdown 16-10.
Berrios was in visible pain after suffering the injury, pounding the ground in frustration.
He had been used as their returner this year, along with the passing game.
The wideout had returned punts for 103 yards this season, with his longest being 44 yards.
The Dolphins offense has been a disaster, with Tua’s injury coming as a big blow.
But he is set to return against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8 to help turn their fortunes around.
