The 26-year-old rocked a headband and displayed his flame-colored hair look.
Tua wore a similar hair color during his collegiate career with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
He guided Alabama to a national championship game win over the Georgia Bulldogs in 2018.
Tagovailoa returned to play in the NFL in Week 8 for the first time in more than a month after recovering from a concussion.
His playing future was uncertain after he suffered a concussion due to a hit made by Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.
Tua has a history of head injuries and suffered two concussions in 2022.
He was given the green light by doctors to be activated from the injured reserve.
After plenty of retirement rumors, Tagovailoa decided to play in the NFL.
In his return last weekend, he threw for 234 yards and a touchdown along with a 73.7 percent.
Unfortunately for the Dolphins, the team lost 28-27 to the Arizona Cardinals and are now 2-5 for the season.
Tua also made a hair change last season when he returned after a Week 10 bye with braided cornrows.
Miami went on to win three straight games.
The squad would lose three of their last four regular season games, however.

Miami will go on the road to face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Josh Allen and the Bills lead the AFC East with a 6-2 record.
