TYREEK Hill created concern for Miami Dolphins fans with his latest cryptic social media post.

The Dolphins‘ star wide receiver had been at the center of trade speculation after the comments he made after his third season with the team ended in not reaching the playoffs with an 8-9 record.

On Sunday, the five-time All-Pro wide receiver Hill once again sparked trade speculation.

The 31-year-old first reposted a message on X which said, “Fins Nation: Would you be open to trading Tyreek Hill,” along with a smiling emoji.

Hill then posted a peace sign emoji to post from Jason Fitzgerald, the founder of the salary cap website Overhtecap.com, that claimed that he is “probably” the biggest draft night player trade candidate.

He then shared another peace sign emoji.

Dolphins fans proceeded to air out their grievances with Hill.

“Us Dolphins fans are tired of you waddle and tua all hype zero results,” one commented, referring to wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

“Lol you do this to yourself my guy. Too much of a distraction,” a second wrote.

“Yes you’re a quitter, you quit on your team, teammates, coaches, and your fans. Please leave,” a third said.

After the Dolphins’ regular-season finale game in 2024, a 32-30 loss to the New York Jets, Hill spoke to reporters and made it seem his tenure in Miami was all but over.

“This is the first time I haven’t been in the playoffs, man, so I mean, for me, I just gotta do what’s best for me and my family, dog,” Hill said at the time. “If that’s here, if that’s wherever the case may be.”

“I’m finna open that door for myself, dog. I’m opening the door.

“I’m out, bro. It was great playing here, but at the end of the day I got to do what’s best for my career.

“I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there.”

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters during an end-of-year news conference that he and Hill talked for an hour and “cleared the air” after a “rough and tumultuous situation.”

Miami general manager Chris Grier also said that he met with Hill and said that the eight-time Pro Bowler never formally requested a trade.

Hill did reveal in February that he’s committed to the Dolphins during an interview with FanDuel TV’s Up & Adams, saying, “I don’t want to go nowhere. I love it.”

He also publicly apologized to Tagovailoa for his trade request.

Hill is coming off a down season in which he recorded 959 yards and a career-low six touchdowns.

He agreed to a three-year, $90 million deal with Miami last August, including $65 million guaranteed money.

The 31-year-old was traded to the Dolphins in 2022 after six years with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he won a Super Bowl.

Hill’s contributions helped the Dolphins break a six-year playoff drought with postseason appearances in 2022 and 2023.
