But NFL fans focused on what the 29-year-old carried with him on the way to the arena.
The Dolphins wideout had a brown McDonald’s bag in his hand, causing the video to go viral and garner over 1.4 million views in just over 12 hours.
And jokes about Hill’s pregame snack flooded social media.
“I’ve never seen a bag of McDonald’s look that clean. I’M NOT FALLING FOR YOUR PSYOP RONALD,” one fan wrote.
“Man’s gotta eat,” another added.
“But he’s already having the Titans for dinner?” a third joked
“One of us…” one wrote.
Hill made the headlines for reasons other than the McDonald’s bag on Monday night.
The seven-time Pro Bowler went down with a knee injury in the first quarter after a tackle by Titans cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting.
The wideout missed the remainder of the first half and was questionable to return.
But he made a stunning comeback in the third period, greeted by loud cheers from the Dolphins faithful.
Shortly after, Hill made two catches for 23 and 25 yards, helping Miami take a commanding 27-13 lead.
But the Titans stunned the Dolphins late in the fourth quarter with touchdowns from Derrick Henry and DeAndre Hopkins securing a win for Tennessee.
