NFL star Chris Jones has said the Wild Card Round matchup with the Miami Dolphins could be his last game for the Kansas City Chiefs.
The All-Pro defensive lineman, 29, was involved in a contract standoff with the Chiefs at the start of the 2023 season before signing a one-year, $25 million deal that expires in March.

And Jones is aware that his eight-year run with the team might come to an end on Saturday if Kansas City loses to Miami in the first-round playoff clash at home.
“It could be my last game at Arrowhead,” he said on Tuesday. “Who knows?”
Jones held out all 2023 offseason and missed the Week 1 loss to the Detroit Lions as he tried to coax the Chiefs into offering him more money.
The former second-round NFL pick reportedly expected a salary comparable to the $31.7 million that Aaron Donald receives on average from the Los Angeles Rams each year.
Eventually, the Chiefs star agreed to the one-year deal, which reportedly included over $5 million in incentives.
Jones managed to secure one of the cash bonuses in the Week 18 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, pocketing $1.25 million for registering his 10th sack of the season.
The ex-Mississippi State standout could find himself in another tricky contract situation in the offseason.
Kansas City is said to have kept the option to franchise tag Jones, preventing him from hitting free agency in two months.
If franchise-tagged, the defensive lineman would be set to earn over $32 million in 2024.
But he could also refuse to sign it, which would start another holdout.
Jones has won two Super Bowl titles and made the Pro Bowl five times during his time with the Chiefs.
Meanwhile, the Wild Card Round matchup with the Dolphins is likely to be a freezing spectacle.
Meteorologists predict the weather to drop to negative-5 degrees in Kansas City on Saturday night.
If the forecast holds up, the clash will be one of the coldest games in NFL history.
Neither Miami nor Kansas City has ever played with the weather in negative numbers, according to Pro Football Reference.
